Fundraiser for The Larry King Cardiac Foundation June 2009 Simin Hashemizadeh owner of South Pacific Surgery Center raises $40,000.00 for the Larry King Cardiac Foundation. Simin Hashemizadeh, who is well known in the Iranian community, opened her beautiful home last Saturday, June 13th to family, friends and supporters of The Larry King Cardiac Foundation to help a cause close to her heart. Simin has lost her father to heart failure; her mother had open heart surgery, and her brother has had his share of cardiac problems as well. Simin is also the owner of the South Pacific Surgery Center in Encino and newly opened South Pacific Surgery Center in Beverly Hills. Simin was joined by: *Kate Linder, Steve Valentine, Inna Korobkina, Lady Victoria Hervey, Cheris Shankar of HSUS, Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, just to name a few… and raised a little bit over $40,000.00* during the evening. Simin gave the very first dinner fundraiser in 2009 for the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which will establish a more grassroots style benefit than has been given in the past, as stated by Larry King himself. Larry King accompanied by his wife Shawn King, were also among the guests.
